Shakespeare Upstaged is a new OrangeMite program reflecting our dedication to the Bard and our never-ceasing mission to bring his works to new audiences within our community. Debuting in December 2016 with the OrangeMite Shakespeare Company's production of Richard II, the audience is seated on the stage of the local Dover Area High School auditorium as the actors perform, engaging adults and textbook-weary students alike to the intimacy and drama only live theatre can create. The Winter's Tale continued this program in December 2017.
