Auditions will include sides from select scenes. The text is abridged, but not adapted.

You may come prepared with a monologue from Shakespeare’s King Lear. No other monologues will be accepted.

Rehearsals begin November 17.

An aging King divides Britain among his three daughters, but his youngest refuses to flatter him enough to earn her share. What follows leads the old man and his followers on a humbling journey across the kingdom, through moondrenched meadows to the verges of steep cliffs, questioning the human capacity for growth and decline.
