Our next play is our first-ever FringeSpeare! In this series, we perform the little-known works that were, at one time, attributed to The Bard, known as the “Shakespeare Apocrphya.”
We perform Víbora y cuervo: Locrine and Other Tales at the York Fringe Festival in August.
OrangeMite Studios is a grassroots, community-based Shakespeare company specializing in producing public-domain classical theatre. After nearly two decades in the York community, the organization remains entirely volunteer-driven; it is the first theatre organization in Pennsylvania to have ever produced all thirty-nine of Shakespeare’s plays.
Join us for the premiere of our original work, LOCRINE & OTHER TALES, at the York Fringe Festival. It’s a bilingual play fusing British origin myths, such as Locrine, with Indigenous Mexican storytelling traditions.
Thanks to our artists and audiences who helped to make the premiere of our original musical eco-adaptation of Troilus and Cressida at the York Fringe Festival.

The OrangeMite Shakespeare Company has produced all of Shakespeare’s 39-play canon. You can rediscover past shows on our Canon page! We are now producing works from other Early Modern writers and plays from the “Shakespeare Apocrphya.”
