Join us for Shakespeare's "Henry VI Part 3" in June!

OrangeMite’s upcoming production of Shakespeare’s Henry VI, Part 3, showcases the climactic battle for the English throne, fueled by the fierce Queen Margaret’s (Paige Hoke) desire for revenge. The young and conflicted King Edward IV (Ben Waters) stands in her way, having stolen the crown from Margaret’s husband after she murdered his father, the Duke of York (Philip Rearich).

Amidst the chaos, the pious King Henry VI (Ángel Nuñez) struggles to maintain his faith in a world consumed by betrayal. Meanwhile, the ruthless Richard, Duke of Gloucester (Daryll Perkins, Jr.), reveals his plots, setting the stage for his own play, Richard III (slated for Fall 2024).

Each character, from the vengeful Clifford (Sofia DiMercurio) to the scheming Warwick (Calvin Emery), brings a unique energy to this Shakespeare history composed of ambition, loyalty, and retribution.

This original adaptation of rarely performed dramatic literature features many surprises, including singing, dancing, and the requisite sword fights. However, as always, Shakespeare’s illuminating verse takes center stage. The performance is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes long, and tickets are available at OrangeMite.org.

Join us June 14-22, 7:00 PM at the Ann B Barshinger Center for the Arts as we prepare to complete our decade-long history play cycle. The project began with our 2014 production of King John, and now we are ready to complete this significant milestone. Check out our production and be a part of this historic moment!
